We are the Furber family from Atlanta, Georgia. Brownie is our adorable pug. She is the best dog in the world! Our favorite things are riding roller coasters (especially at Cedar Point in Ohio) and sports (especially Atlanta Thrashers hockey). We are in the process of adopting a sweet baby boy from Taiwan. September 2002-  began trying to start a family

April 2004-  made the decision to adopt

February 2005-  began our home study process

December 2005-  sent our adoption paperwork to Taiwan

December 2005-November 2007-  waiting for a referral from Taiwan

November 15, 2007-  received news that a birthmother in Taiwan has selected us to be the parents of a baby boy named Ssu-Wei

November 21, 2007-  accepted the referral of our future son, who will be named Kai Wei

December 18, 2007- adoption contracts were sent to Taiwan

March 26, 2008- court hearing scheduled

Currently-  waiting any day for the court judge to make the adoption decree, hoping to bring our son home in June
