Kai had a awesome weekend. He was very happy and silly. On Saturday April had to take a class for her teaching certificate so it was just the boys and Brownie. Kai and I went to Office Depot in the morning. We rushed home so he could shovel cinnamon toast into his mouth. I do mean shovel. He puts in about 4 small pieces at a time. After that we went to the park for awhile. Kai’s new favorite thing to do is go down the slides head first on his belly. Yikes!!!! We are working on him sitting on his bottom when on the slides but it is still a work in progress. Kai is starting to say more now too. He is saying car,truck,school bus, and up. I am probably forgetting one or two but he is coming along. Now when we are in the van he points to everything and I mean everything because he either tells you what he is looking at or he wants you to tell him what he is looking at. Each time in the van is now a learning experience for him which is a great thing. We tried tried using crayons on Sunday but he wanted nothing to do with them. Brownie also had a great weekend since Kai gave her several Cheerios. As you can see in one of the pictures Kai somehow managed to put a Cheerio behind his ear. April and I had a good laugh about that. He must have had that on for close to 30 minutes. Very funny!!! Tomorrow April and I have to go see Kai’s Urologist to schedule his snip snip. That hurts me to say that. We will schedule the deed then. That awful event will take place sometime after the first of the year. Great way to start the year, eh?? Friday, we should have our social worker come to the house for our post placement visit. We need to get the report done before our court date on December 5th. Better get back to work now. Brett
