Yesterday April and I went to Kai’s very first party at school. It was really cool to see him in his classroom with his friends. When we first got to his school he was upset because other parents had gotten there before us. He must have thought we weren’t coming even though we had told him ten times that morning we were. Once he saw us his face lit up and all was good in his world. At the end of the party they did a little trick or treating and then it was time to go home. We all had a lot of fun. Tonight we are going over to the Gardin’s to trick or treat in their neighborhood. Time for Kai Kai to collect some more candy for his daddy. The picture with the head gear was taken a couple days ago. Thought I would just throw that one in. Brett
We took Kai to our church last night so he could go collect some candy for his daddy. He came through for me. He actually kept his costume on the entire time. April made his costume. She did a great job with it. Each person Kai went up to he said trick or treat, and thank you. We were very proud of him. He had fun jumping in the moon walk and loved going on a hay ride. Grand C came with us to help Kai collect candy. In the other picture you can see Kai with his socks over his pj’s. We call that the Gaga look.
So, a few weeks ago, Grand C and Grand G kept Kai while Brett and I went to the Tour Championship here in Atlanta. They took him to his first Atlanta Thrashers hockey game. Last night Kai, all of a sudden, started pretending a big spoon was a hockey stick. He began skating, and more importantly, running into the boards and glass!! Grand G Geoff would be so proud! It continually amazes me how much he recalls from experiences he has! This fun video sums it all up! April
Here is a cute picture with Kai and Brownie. The video shows Kai using his golf clubs. He actually has a really good swing for not knowing what he is doing. We can work on it. Can’t wait to get him out on the course someday. Kai is over his swine flu. Once we got a couple rounds of Tamiflu in him he turned the corner. Took about a week for it to be gone.
Just noticed I didn’t put all the Tybee pictures on the blog. You can see her Kai loved being buried in the sand. Doesn’t he look cute in his hat? Also, there are some pictures of Kai with his back pack on his 1st day of school. Kai loves going to school now. His teacher(Ms Deena) absolutely adores him. Everyday we pick him up from school she tells us how cute, sweet, helpful, and smart he is. The fireman hat came from when we had dinner at Firehouse. When we got back from Tybee the fair was next to our house. Kai got to ride some things with his Mama. He really had a good time. This past week Kai came down with the swine flu. After a few days he is now feeling better. You can see we had to wrap him up because his teeth were chattering. Getting the Tamiflu in him has been a battle. Keeping it in him has been worse. Only 1 more dose and we are done. C Ya!
Here are some pictures from our first day on Tybee Island. Kai loves the beach. He is having a lot of fun with Gram, Papa, Uncle Randy, and Aunt Katie. This has been a great vacation. We head back to Atlanta tomorrow. I will post a video when we get back. Bad internet connection here.
Just some pics from this past weekend. Kai had just eaten a piece of bread and you can see it all over his face. The pictures with him laying on me is just before night night. Tomorrow is a big day for Kai. He is off to pre school. Fingers crossed it will go well. I think once they get doing stuff he will love it. This weekend we are taking him to the beach. He has been saying Tybee Island for the last week. We will get to see Gram, Papa, Uncle Randy and Aunt Katie while we are there. He should be a lot of fun at the beach. Can’t wait to see his reaction. As Kai says “Later”
This week April and I went to our first open house as parents. Next Wednesday Kai starts pre school. He will be going on Wednesday and Friday. I think he will really enjoy it. April took Kai yesterday to meet both of his teachers. Below are pictures of his teacher Ms Deena(blonde Hair) and the assistant teacher(Ms. Charlotte). The video is of Kai just being Kai. He is a very funny kid but a handful. We will let you know how next week goes. Brett
